These two pictures are of my mother – Eleanor – she worked in an Edwardian themed restaurant called Flanagan’s in South Kensington in the 60’s and 70’s – will ask her specific year when I speak to her – but I remember her telling me a photographer came in and took photos one day.

I ate The Contented Sole a few times during the 1960’s so Ellie probably served me on occasion. Fabulous seeing these photos and would greatly enjoy seeing more.
Thanks Rik. Fantastic that such memories still abide after so many years. I wish we had located John’s main archive and could provide more to view. But to date no such luck. It would surely be a treasure of fine photography.
